Brief Description:  Glassing the sides. Preparation

As suggested by others, figgered out myself, and a little trial and error made my rotisserie.

For the rear I screwed a bit of scrap timber between the timber bottoms of the spar cutout, and nailed a ply disk to it. Both A-frames are topped by a ply triangle and fixed by a 1/4" bolt. Looked a bit skinny to me, but working adequately. Incorporated the FJA/FJC templates in the feet, so anybody who wanted them now has to wait :) The bolt is 1" above the top of the lower firewall. I drilled through the right leg into the disk so I can insert a peg to hold the fuselage at handy angles.

For the rear I clamped the upright of F22 between two pieces of ply with wood screws, and nailed on an upright for the pivot. Ended up at about 9" from the bottom. Is still above the center of gravity, but is easy to handle.

Am intending to weight a piece of foam over the F22 joggle, and the side windows. When I tried it out the side flexed down too far, so made a brace between the sides from a couple of pieces of masonite spread with scrap timber and bondo'd in place.

Masked off the bottom, lining the trim line with duct tape.

Started cutting cloth.
