Brief Description: Position and pilot drill Tunnel Zee.
Today I positioned and pilot drilled the aft and forward Tunnel Zee into the forward fuselage. The process required that I remove the aft wing attach angles. Position the forward tunnel zee left and right. Remove the bottom skin to access and drill the zee. Then put the bottom skin back on and position the aft tunnel zee web. Re-install the wing attach angles and drill the aft tunnel web. Lastly Laying on my back under the fuselage, drill the bottom of the fwd and aft tunnel zee to the bottom skin.
I also trimmed the upper firewall into position and clecoed. I am not going to updrill it until I am certain that its position is correct in relation to how it attaches to the windscreen.
I still have clips, the firewall and bottom skin stiffeners to install and then the whole thing comes apart for final deburring and riveting.
