Brief Description: F20 parts for the turtledeck assembly.
Today I ordered some channel to remake the cross ties to square the fuselage. I am off about 1/16 inch at the forward cross tie box position. I am moving on to F20 parts for the turtledeck assembly while waiting for the new channel.
Most of my time was spent making clips. I also made the channel the holds both turtledeck sides together and deburred the splice plates.
I just read the lastest completions on the Sonex website which is copied here.
Congratulations to William McWhorter of Eugene, Oregon whose AeroVee powered, standard gear Sonex (S/N 1486) flew for the first time on February 15th! "My beautiful red bird flew for the first time after 1 year of absorbing, entertaining, and educational construction,"
I have got to push myself to work more to get this completed. I am certain that William McWhorter is an experienced builder or had a lot of help to have finished in one year. I suppose am just extending the pleasure of building.
That's BS. I want to get this thing done. I updated the drawing tree and highlighted a few more boxes.
