Brief Description: Deburr, fit and cleco bottom Skin for riveting.
I finished deburring the botton left skin and clecoed in preparation for riveting. I attached the tie-down eyebolt and reviewed the plans. The plans call for the 23/32 hole for the eyebolt which allows the skin to float around the eyebolt. I cut my hole the diameter of the eyebolt and was going to install with the eyebolt flange holding down the skin against the tiedown mount affixed to the main spar inside the wing. Picture 3 below.
I will do some checking to see if this is acceptable. It seems that it would only make the skin more stiff at that location.
