Brief Description: Remove Fwd Root Rib. Bend Attach Angle.
Previously determined that the Root Rib Attach Angle supplied with the Optional Machined Parts had not been preformed to the required 86 degrees. The angle was 89 degrees. I removed the Fwd Root Rib Attach Angle and drilled out rivets.
The new Heavy 6 inch vice that Katie and Josh bought me did the job and I pounded out the Angle to close it up to 86 degrees without to much difficulty. All of the rivets drilled out nice except for one that had to be up sized to a #21 hole and a CCP-54 vrvet.
While the Attach Angle was off I made a notch at the top and bottom of the angle to allow the rivet in the top and bottom of spar to clear. Also updrilled the same holes in the spar and deburred. It would have been impossible to deburr after the angle is reattached.
