Today I spent some time trying to figure out how to attach the root rib to the root rib attach assembly. It seems impossible to accurately clamp and drill the rib using the pilot holes in the root rib assembly because rib 1 is in the way. But having just talked with Kerry Fores he instructs me to "just follow the plans and complete one page at a time and do not jump ahead". I ended up removing the Root Rib Attachment after measuring and marking the location of the root rib. With the part removed it was easy to drill pilot, updrill, and rivet these parts. After getting the root rib riveted into place I riveted the Rear Spar to the Aft Ribs 1-12.
Next I need to install the Forward Rib which should nopt be as much on an issue.
