After discussing this with Kerry from Sonex tech support I have a better understanding of the process used to set the main gear axle Toe-In to .07 degrees.
I plan to use a long piece of angle and and attach phenolic blocks on the angle to align with both forward edges of the alignment bushing tools and the end of each axle. I will order 2 double split collars 1.25 inches. The collars will secure the axle weldment to the gear leg. When all measurements are correct, I will drill a starter hole and then move the assembly to the drill press.
