Today I made the Rocker Arm Push Rods. I used a push rod tool to determine the proper length. the left was 10.957 and the right was 10.951 Basically the same length for both sides. After measuring and marking the location to cut the push rod I used a cheap tubing cutter from HF. After cutting and cleaning I heated the Push Rod with the heat gun to expand the metal and used a 4 lb hammer to install the new end. After tInstalling the Push rods i re-installed the rocker arm for the last time.
Push rod tool on top and 1 of 8 new push rod to be cut and new end.
Measure the new push rod and cut.
Heat the push rod and install the new end with a good whack.
