The split collars came in today so here we go First I re-measured all the distances. set up the alignment tools and attached the collars.The split collars did a great job of securing the axle weldments to the gear legs. I determined the location of the hole for the 1/4 inch bolt. I shold have done that after removing the gear legs. I centered the hole but the angle to the axle is wrong. This will require a change to the brake cable fitting but does not change the toe-in. Drilling the titanium gear legs went well with colbalt drill bits and lots of cutting oil. I cleared the chips at least 15 times on each cut.
