Brief Description: Rivet Firewall, forward tunnel and install motor m
Today I riveted the lower firewall, forward wing attach angles. I flush riveted the fwd tunnel in the previously dimpled and countersunk holes of the forward fuselage.
I installed 32 of the 40 bolts that attach the motor mounts to the fuselage and also countersunk and installed the bolts in the forward upper longerons.
I am going to hold off riveting the upper firewall to allow more access to tight areas. The same for the bottom skins. These can be installed later pretty easily.
This finishes F11 and I have previously made all parts for F10, so I can start F09 when I return from our winter vacation in South Padre Island.....
