After several weeks away I was able to get some good building in today. I drilled and up drilled the aft fuselage tail cone assemblies. This has been a source of concern for a long time. After reviewing other builder’s notes and pictures I was able to come up with a plan to get this work completed. The tail cone box is a small area inside the rear fuselage at the tail of the airplane and very difficult to work in. Several holes must be drilled with very tight tolerances. All of the tail cone pieces work to hold the vertical and horizontal stabilizer in the correct positions and both must be precisely aligned. I am happy with both the quality and quantity of work completed today.
