Brief Description: Make left flap hinge and install on flap.
Tonight I cut the flap hinge half, layed out and drilled the pilot holes and positioned the hinge onto the flap .057in above the bottom forward edge. It is extremely important to properly locate the hinge so that when the flap is installed on the wing it is in the correct position and the movement does not interfere with the aileron and the contour of the outside edge matches the wing contour.
I finished pilot drilling the hinge to the flap and updrilling to #30. After deburring both sides of the hinge and the flap pieces I was able to rivet the flap. Looks great to me.
