Cut the bottom of the leading edge skin landing light hole. Cut the Pitot tube hole and made a new bracket that included nut plates so that the pitot could be easily replaced. I also clecoed the top skin in place and re-installed the flap and aileron to check again for proper clearance. I am happy with the fit and it looks good to me but I will have other more experienced builders look it over also in addition to the EAA Tech counselor.
I also spent 1.5 hours practicing the dimple process with different Dimples and I am very happy with the4 results so I plan to start dimpling tomorrow.
