I wired the harness for the radio then messed up the DB9 connector so I order a new one that allows me to use crimp on pins. In the meantime I made up the harness for the EFIS and prepped the wires that will go to the RDAC. I can't run them until the panel is mounted.
I got the CHT probes ran to the RDAC and installed the EGT probes as well. Sonex recommends them being 4" from the exhaust flange. The middle picture shows the EGT wires dangling, but I plan to secure them with an adel clamp. The RDAC DB9 is also hanging while I wait for the 3 other wires that need to connect into it (from the EFIS).
I also ran the Oil temp and Oil Press wires to the RDAC. I cleaned up as much as I could in the rear of the engine to keep items from rubbing each other. I am expecting the radio components tomorrow so I might be able to finalize the panel tomorrow.
I filled the engine with oil and remarked the dipstick for full at 2.75 quarts.
