This is one of those jobs that would be much easier with two people. I ended up using my partners old makeup mirror so that I could line up the ribs while holding each one with my three hands, clamping and then final nudging them into line, then run around the other side so that I could drill just one hole and then pull it apart to drill the rest of the holes using my drilling guide for the rest of the holes. It is as bad as it sounds! I should have got more done today, but the weather was the best it has been for ages and I went for a much longer fly than I intended. One of my mates has fitted a stick shaker to his Jabiru, I can tell you that I was pretty impressed both by how simple and idiot proof his system is. He promises to fill me in with where he got his parts, as I want to replicate how he did it. It's one of my worries regarding the non fitment of a stall warning device to the Sonex's.
