The last month has been more hectic than usual, I think every piece of earth moving equipment that I own broke in some way this month which affected my plane building. But the tail plane is coming together finally. I'm forming the folds on the skins using a vacuum cleaner to create the suction to create the 1/2" radius fold on the skins. The second picture shows how I'm doing it. I didn't own a piece of plastic large enough, but I do have plenty of plastic shopping bags and rolls of electrical tape, but once I'd done it once I wish that I'd done it when doing the wing leading edges. I have a 1" round bar placed inside the sealed up blank to form the radius, it only takes a second or two for the air pressure to do the job.
