Brief Description:  Forward Fuselage

I've spent the last month or so busy working my way through four pages of plans making up a kit of components to construct the forward fuselage. It is a myriad of small and large angle pieces and sub assemblies which when laid out on my bench look pretty impressive. I've been using a compound mitre saw for cutting the various angles on the angle stock, this I have found is far and away the easiest way of getting them correct. I only made one right cut when it should have been a left! Luckily it only wasted about an inch of material and the obligatory muttering under my breath!

I purchased a chinese made tube rolling bender, any excuse for Tim the Toolman here. Rolling the canopy frame is a piece of cake. I am positive proof that it is the most idiot proof way of doing it!
