Brief Description: Ailerons: RH Aileron Hinge and Outside Tip
* Drilled, deburred and clecoed aileron hinge. - Made sure all ribs were clecoed in place (top and bottom) before drilling to make sure the aileron couldn't twist out of shape. Seemed to work very well. Hinge is very straight.
* Trimmed the skin for the outside rib installation. - Needed to peel off the protective covering and redo the measuring and marking. - Used Dremel tool to notch the sharp edge bends. - Used right and left snips to trim out about 1/16" from the line. - Used the Vixen file to get right to the line - worked beautifully. - Put masking tape on the inside of the skin and the corners of the file to avoid gouges.
