Drilled the pilot holes and removed laser flashing. Deburred holes. Used Scotch Brite wheel, 150 and 220 grit sandpaper and maroon Scotch Brite pads to take out scratches and tool marks around the edges.
Bent the rudder drive horn to 5.2 degrees by hammering it in the bench vise. It's fine, but not very precise. Next time around would recommend using the Dave Clay pole brake method (see flange for the vertical stabilizer forward spar). And bend before drilling, otherwise bend is affected by the drilled holes.
