A local guru informed me that my plenum lid would crack at the point where the two cylinder's baffles come together. Make sense when you consider those cylinders independant movement. So, I decided to head that crack off at the pass. I put a cut in the plenum lid and a cover over it. The cover is only rivetted to one side of the crack, so that it can move with the rest of the lid. I'll then fill the cut with high temp RTV from below...allowing flex without leakage...I hope.
