Brief Description:  Right Grove Gear Leg and Brake Line

First project in the new hanger...get it on the gear.

I should mention, just for the sake of complete disclosure, the gear when on and had to come back off...because I didn't realize the Grove Gear brake line 90 degree fitting needed to be installed prior to the gear mount. So, when you're squeezing your fingers back into the gear tower to get those NAS nuts on there and cursing like a drunk Marine....imagine doing it, taking it back apart and doing it again. Yeah...not pleasant. The NAS 1804-6 nuts make it easier than the NAS679A6's would have been though.

So, I had the brake line perfect...a thing of beauty....and I put the line in the flaring tool for the last flare and when I took it out...you know, because you've flared lines before. Yeah, I left off the damn end. So, I could have made it again...but instead I cut the flare off, put the end caps on and flared it again...that's why it doesn't sit square any more....and I don't care. Make fun of me at Oshkosh if you like, I'm not redoing it. The brake fluid won't care.
