My original intent was to put the AOA display on the glarescreen. The more I looked at it though, the less attractive it looked up there. It would certainly be the best place for it, but I'm a vain man I guess.
So, I put it in the panel. Let me tell you, cutting such a small hole in an already complete and clear coated panel....not fun. It turned out as well as a guy with a drill, a dremel and some files could hope for....but I hope to never do that again.
