Today I built the battery hold down. Following the urge to be a little different, I chose to modify the Odyssey PC680 hold down kit. I added two layers of .063 on the sides and one on the top in order to make the hold down fit aircraft snug. Probably wouldn't bother to do it again, especially considering the cost, but it's done and looks good....you know, back behind the luggage wall where nobody will ever see it. :-)
In the first picture, the plate to the right is the spacer I made to sit on top of the battery.
