The switches on the copilot military style control stick all come together to a common ground wire, and I'm running that wire to a guarded toggle switch mounted under the pilot's right thigh on the left side of the fuel tank valve cover. When the guard is closed, the switch is to the ON position: This closed the ground and enables the switches and buttons on the copilot switch. When the switch is in the OFF position (guard up), a kid can fly with me without going nuts on the stick switches.
