Brief Description: Installing the seat cushion wiring
I installed the two wire bundles for the pilot and copilot seat heaters. These went under the cockpit floor, under the seats between the wall and outermost floor ribs. I used industrial strength velcro strips with adhesive backing stuck to the bottom skin. I wrapped the wire bundles with velcro strapped, then reached them back and stuck them to the floor-mounted velcro.
On each cockpit side, I drilled a hole in the floor just outboard of each outboard seat-belt mount bracket. The hole is to the same diameter as a rubber grommet whose inner diameter will accomodate the wires for the seat heat plugs. I placed the grommet on the plug wires, then fished those plugs and wire through the hole from beneath, then clipped the grommet into the mounting hole.
I then connected the positive and negative wires to the ship wiring harness via barrel connectors. Ops check is GOOD!
