I began installing the cockpit-mounted fuel boost pump and fuel valve, tightened all fuel lines, then worked my way forward with all floor covers to the firewall. I intended to install all of these covers, but I ran into a problem.
Part F-782C Center Cabin Cover runs from the center forward floor up to the firewall, then turns 90 degrees upward to cover the footheat air valve. It covers the wiring bundles and fuel line as it runs from the main spar/fuel tank selector/boost pump area forward: There should be enough slack in the wiring to make it all the way forward, then turn upward to run up the firewall, all while staying comfortably beneath the Center Cabin Cover's 90-degree turn.
I GOOFED! I didn't give myself enough slack when I installed all that wiring over the last 2 years.
