Brief Description: SB 14-01-31 part 2, removing forward spar angles
Next I drilled out the rivets holding the forward spar's top and bottom angle bars to the spar. These bars join the left and right spars at the center.
Image 3 shows one of the four forward spar flange ends that I cut back with a dremel wheel. The SB kit included a 3" x 3" piece of steel plate that I slid under the flange, providing a solid backing that I could cut against with the dremel wheel without harming the underlying skin.
