Brief Description: Final match drilling on the Left Horizontal Stabil
Finished match/final drilling the 601PP skins on the left horizontal. For some reason no pictures were taken of this process. I'll get them on the right side. Once the skin was match drill I remove all the clecoes (so many!!) and drilled the remaining open holes in HS-714, HS-710 and HS-00001. The instructions say to repeat for the right side so that is where I am now. Once this is complete I will be going through the slow process of deburring and cleaning up everything to get ready for priming.
This process is so rewarding. I do have to admit that I get behind on logging. I take a ton of pictures and email them to mysel for this log but then I procrastinate on actually going in and getting it down. For now on I will have my computer booted up and ready to go and immediately get the log updated. You forget the details if you wait and I think the log suffers because you just don't have the bandwidth to remember the valuable details of the what you did. Lesson learned!!
