In pic 1 the Master himself, WW, startes the engine. The start was very quick, just a couple of blades before it sprang to life at a steady idle. In pic #3 I am standing behind the engine while it runs a high power towards the end of the run-in cycle. It puts up quite a breeze and I must say that I would not want to be standing back there trying to adjust the valves. The valves get adjusted during the assembly process before the lifters are filled with oiland should never need to be adjusted again fortunately. The engine is now off to the side in the shop as I prepare for the build of the fuselage assembly jig.
