There is a clamp for the exhaust stack of each cylinder to hold the exhaust manifold on. These are press formed steel and being subject to high heat they tend to rust. After a complete cleaning and bead blasting my parts were given two coats of Silver VHT Flameproof paint. After drying they went into the toaster oven and recevied the required three phase curing process. After a few more days had passed the collection of parts that were painted and ready for the build were growing. In Image 2 you see the newest census which now includes all six cylinders as well as all the brackets for the starter mounting. The valve covers now have their logos applied with a clear coat to seal them in. In thefinal view the entire collection of parts that were painted are assembled. This excludes the case and heads due to their bulky size. All I have to do is finish those large parts and I am done with the spray paint for awhile.
