Brief Description:  Pitot / Static System Design

The Pitot / Static system is dual redundant and features dual heated AOA/Pitot tubes from Dynon and two sets of dual static ports. Each static system has a port on each side of the fuselage to balance out effect of sideslip so there will be a total of two independant static sources on each side. The Basic system has the left side Pitot / Static system installed for future upgrades and all the lines get plugged. In the advanced system there is a combination of a 10" Dynon Skyview for the primary display and it is backed up with dual Dynon D10A displays and conventional instruments. This provides the safest approach to possible IFR use as the backup attitude is a different product and unlikely to suffer and simultaneous software glitches (not that I do not have faith in the Dynon product line, I just like the isolation between non identical systems).
