"The electrical system is more complex then typical but designed for maximum reliability and redundancy. It follows the guidelines layed out by Bob Nuckolls, author of the ""AeroElectric Connection"". Main Features are a 60 amp alternator mounted to the rear of the engine and a backup 20 amp John Deere dynamo mounted on the front, A single 17ah batterie and both main and Essential buses with cross connect provide for load shedding.
Most of the components are on hand already so it is now a waiting game till the airframe catches up with the designs. Most of the electrical system components are mounted behid the seat against the forward wall of the baggage compartment. Remaining components are below the baggage compartment floor along with remote mounted avionics. Finall there are additional misc components that are attached to the aft side of the firewall and to side panels between the firewall and instrument panel."
