Start fitting canopy: Mark edges of turtle deck, fuselage, windshield with yellow tape so edge is easily visible through protective film on the canopy.
Canopy as far forward as possible, and centered on fuselage. Mark front edge for cut off with yellow tape. Cut off with dremel tool and cut off wheel, leaving about 3/16" to 1/4' to yellow tape. Use belt sander with #80 belt to trim down to edge of yellow tape. Use sanding block and #80 paper to finish edge.
Fit canopy to fuselage. Mark rear edge of canopy with yellow tape. Cut off with dremel tool and cut off wheel, leaving about 3/16" - 1/4" to yellow tape.
Fit canopy to fuselage, looks ok to sand down to mark edge. Use belt sander with #80 belt to trim down to edge of yellow tape. Use sanding block and #80 paper to finish edge.
Fit canopy to fuselage. Looks ok to mark right side of canopy.
