I am second guessing my decision for left side throttle, flap, brake & dial -a- trim controls, after fabricating the instrument panel and cut outs for all instruments, I see that there is not much room there for these controls.
Center controls will be best for right seat pilot anyway, and my wife Mary Ann is definitely in favor of center controls.
Throttle and dial -a- trim will now be mounted in the center of the instrument switch panel, which will be mounted below the instrument panel.
I am not sure if the hydraulic brake control will be mounted on the left stick (accessible only by the left seat pilot?) or mounted on the center mounted flap handle (not easily accessible by either left or right seat pilot if properly secured by seat belts? Whoever designed this has never hit anything going fast and does not know the importance of tight seat belts ! ! (Go ahead, ask me how I know ).
Work on installing center flap controls. Fabricate F15-15 Flap Drive Pivot Block Assembly. Remove powder coating from C09-01 Flap Handle Assembly. This was quite difficult with the assembly in place, but I got it done. Measure for 2" square tubing to be mounted next to the center 1/2" square tubing on the floor. The pivot block will be mounted to this 2" tubing.
