Brief Description: Picked Up Sonex Kit @ Sonex Aircraft in Oshkosh
Picked up aircraft kit from Sonex in Oshkosh. 1 pallet and 1 crate with the pre-fab wing spars in it. The pallet was banded and shrink wrapped. I spent alot of time making sure the pallet was secured to my trailer. (I did not actually ensure the boxes were secured to the pallet though) I did not make it to Fond du Lac and I had to stop to check the load, the shrink wrap was sailng in the wind and a couple of small boxes were sliding out from under the banding. Used a little 200 mph hour duct tape to secure everything. You'd think with a $150 crating charge everything would be secured to the pallet. My fault though for not checking this before departing.
