Axle hole drilled in the right wheel pant is located incorrectly, wheel pant would not be parallel with the wheel when using this hole ( oops ! ) Remove L07-12 Right Wheel Pant. Tap end of axle 10-32. Create a template to make axle hole on wheel pant: Install a piece of sheet metal to axle, reinstall the wheel pant. Adjust the sheet metal so it is parallel with the bottom of the wheel pant. Pull up outboard edge of wheel pant so the pant is parallel with the wheel, draw line across sheet metal.
Remove axle & wheel pant from gear leg as an assembly, remove wheel pant from back plate. Using the sheet metal piece as a template, clamp it to the wheel pant, lining it up with the bottom of the wheel pant, clamp in place. Drill new axle screw hole in wheel pant.
Fabricate and fiberglass in place a small square plate to the inside of each wheel pant to prevent the axle from wearing thru the wheel pant.
