Begin with gear leg fairings removed. Install fuel door hinge half to cooling baffle around fuel filler.
Pin insertion order: 1. Left half aft pin 2. Right half aft pin 3. Wire tie @ bottom center aft to hold the cowl halves tight together 4. Bottom center fwd pin 5. Bottom center aft pin 6. Bottom aft right pin 7. Bottom aft left pin 8. Left aft 3 SkyBolts 9. Right aft 3 SkyBolts 10. Top center pin 11. Front 2 SkyBolts
Sounds easy, huh? All righty then.....
Left Cowl Half Top left side & rear baffle seals are folded to the inside. Front baffle seal is folded down in front and to the outside / left on the left side. At left rear corner back seal is on top of the side seal.
Top of oil cooler baffle seal is folded up
Bottom of oil cooler baffle seal? Fold up or down?
Right Cowl Half Top right side & rear baffle seals are folded to the inside. Front baffle seal is folded down in front and to the outside / right on the right side. At right rear corner back seal is on top of the side seal.
When installing right side cowl, front left plate must go inside of the left cowl, bottom rear air outlet can be tucked inside of the left cowl after the right cowl is set into place, but before any right side pins are inserted.
Top oil cooler baffle sheet metal goes below the bottom SkyBolt (pull the sheet metal down with an allen wrench and vise grips). Pull up the bottom of the oil cooler baffle sheet metal slightly before inserting the bottom FWD center pin.
The bottom FWD center of the cowl will appear as if there is too much gap, but push it together and begin installing the bottom FWD center pin, and as it is inserted the cowl halves will pull together.
