Brief Description: Engine Cowl Installation

Remove P13-10 x2 Cowl Center Bottom Seam Bottom Hinge & P13-09 x2 Cowl Center Bottom Seam Top Hinge. Apply clear tape on outside of cowl, with brown electrical tape down the center of the hinges. Apply white Avery stick on's to the inside of the cowl, to cover all rivet holes, this will prevent the fiberglass from filling in the rivet holes. Apply 2 layers of fiberglass resin & cloth to the inside seam of engine cowl lower seam. Fiberglass materials from Menards: Resin = Bondo, Stage 2 Cloth = Bondo, Stage 2 Hardender, Bondo, 10 drops per oz, mixed 6 oz. After fiberglass hardenend, removed all tape from the outside, then applied Bondo body filler to fill some small air pockets/voids in the fiberglass.
