1030 - 1300 Install T14-03 Vertical Tail Tip to Vertical Stabilizer T8-01. Yes, this is as difficult as expected, especially since the tail tip has not been moulded symetrically.
I have inserted spacers under the 2 skin clecos that are closest to the tail tip. My precise measurments to determine how far the tail tip should slide into the vert stab are useless because of the un-symetrical shape of the tail tip. Tail tip has been inserted in between the rib and skin, up to the tabs I have previously mounted to the tail tip for depth. The last picture shows how far from "straight" the tail tip is. Angle finder is at 90 degrees, tip is a good 1/2" from being straight. Once again Quality Control was on holiday when this part left the factory.
