Brief Description:  Worked on flaperons then inventoried shipment

Of the hours reported, 2.2 were Carole's.

Spent the morning clecoing up the inboard right hand flaperon section. This required fabricating the attachment hardware from heavy aluminum, which I did on the band saw and drill press. Boyd arrived after noon and we went and picked up the 800 pound crate in my trailer. To do this we extended the tail gate and held it open with chains. We found that the box was mainly to the rear of the wheels which put up force on the trailer hitch so I bought 400 pounds of sand and quickcrete to put in the front of the trailer.

Upon bringing it home and getting the entire trailer in the barn, Carole and I started inventory. This shipment includes the fuselage, so there are interesting things like windshields and gas tanks. We will have a space problem until the box can be taken off the trailer and the trailer removed.

Boyd and I bought materials for him to build two 6x3 steel tables with a high quality plyboard top. These will be put end to end in the fuselage and wing construction phases to get a 12 foot table, as recommended. They are being designed to be very flat.
