Brief Description: Put new right side skin on. Straighten fuselage
Late entry: During December, Jim Rosser and I worked several days on the fuselage under the direction of Dave Norwood at Parowan Aero in Parowan. The objective was to straighten a slight twist in the fuselage structure. Many rivets were taken out of the bottom and RHS of the fuselage. The fuselage was jacked up and held firmly in a straight correct position. A new RHS skin was ordered and, while the fuselage was held straight, the new skin was positioned and installed. The other skins were held in their original position with clicos.
Vertical L angles were fixed in place while the fuselage was held firmly in place.
Image 2 shows the old skin removed. Image 1 and 3 shows the new skin duct taped into correct position while new holes are drilled to match the existing holes in the skeleton.
