Brief Description:  Aligning top and bottom skins

It was noticed that the top and bottom skins were not vertically aligned at the tail end of the skins. Since the rudder hinges are affixed on the top and bottom skins, this would make the rudder not be vertical. Various schemes were considered to align the skins. The advice of the EAA technical representative was solicited and gotten. The rivets which hold the skins to the longerons were removed from bottom and sides further and further back to toward the cockpit. Jigs were tried to hold the skins vertical. Some skin was cut away for replacement. Nothing has yet been satisfactory and the work continues. The work was accumulated as follows.

Note that the flaperons were being worked on at the same time and the split between the time on the two is not precise. That work on the same days are in another entry. The accurate fact that is between 10/2 and 10/13 I spent 34.3 hours split between the correction of the fuselage and the fabrication of the flaperons.
