Brief Description:  Worked on nose gear strut

These hours include 2.0 from Carole on 8/2 and 1.6 of mine on 7/29 and 1.3 of mine on 8/1.

These hours were spent studying and then fitting the nose wheel strut on to the firewall. The upper bearing was re-installed and the strut fitted through it. In the full down position, the strut barely enters the upper bearing. When there is weight on the wheel (on the ground) the strut will extend up into it. In the full down position, the bungee is not very hard to install. The split lower bearing is a very tight fit. Two rivets had to be taken out to get it into the slot but with a little trimming these can be put back in later. Grease helped in both bearings.

I am running short of AN bolts and will call Zenith tomorrow to get more.

All the backorders and missing inventory items arrived and were inventoried.
