This time includes 2.0 on 7/21/09. In the gap after 7/14, Carole and I went down to El Monte and visited with Jenna, Boyd and Kenny/Marilyn.
The work here was to fit in ready to rivet the doublers which attach to the gear strut channel. They are positioned from the other side by a tap on the gear strut fitting (see figure 2). This starts the first two rivet holes. Nine more are evenly spaced along the doubler then.
This took time getting lined up and boring the holes first with a small drill then with the #20 appropriate to A5 rivets.
The fittings were then removed, deburred and treated with zinc oxide.
