Brief Description: Worked on controls. Riveted fuselage
These hours were performed on 6/28 and 6/29.
Of these hours, 4.1 were Caroles.
I continued finishing the flaperon connections up to the stick. These check out OK. Carole riveted the fwd to the rear fuselage while I studied how to fit in the seats. I notice that the seats are riveted to the side skin and that the side skin is not predrilled whereas the seat flange is predrilled. These holes are on the flange and UNDER the seat making it very difficult to redrill to A4. This will be the challenge ahead. Meanwhile a trial fit of the baggage area sheets works fine.
Carole also drilled and riveted the reinforcements attaching the tubing to the sides.
