Of these hours, 1.6 were Caroles, working on the bottom inspection hatch.
Following the photo guides, the hatch on the bottom was fitted. This involved fitting screw fittings in the bottom skin and matching holes in the hatch. These were drilled, deburred and treated with zinc oxide. They will be riveted in the next session.
Meanwhile I began to permanently attach the tubular parts of the controls. The bearings were a very tight fit since I had put primer on the tubes. I would not do that again. Note that we also drilled through the "Z" stiffners in error. If that becomes a problem I will patch along the Z surface.
