Brief Description:  Repaired some firewall rivets and fuselage rivets

Of these hours, 1.8 were Carole's.

A few of the rivets in the firewall assembly were not straight in because a close-by flange prevented the pneumatic rivet puller from aligning straight in. These were removed and replaced using the hand rivet puller. Similarly, along one section of the lower right fuselage the predrilled holes in the longeron and the skin were not aligned very well. These were re-drilled and since this made the hole bigger, A5 rivets were substituted for the A4 rivets.

Also, in a few places, new rivets were added which had new holes which fit the rivets as they should.

Most of the steel items were taken out and washed with soap and water (they were actually pretty clean to start with) and rinsed and dried. Then one side was painted with ACE hardware paint primer "Rust Stopper". (1967561). The other side will be painted when this is dry.

There were no pictures taken of these steps as they produced nothing new to photograph.
