Brief Description:  Deburring, preparing rear fuselage for joining

These hours accumulated on 13 through 17 May.

On the 13th the zinc oxide coated parts of the fwd fuselage were reassembled. The bottom stiffners were trimmed as indicated in the part description.

The fuselage photo guides were downloaded and printed. These were studied to check on the fuselage work that has already been done. I was reminded that some of the holes in the fwd fuselage were to be redrilled to A5 which had not been done. As a result the fwd fuselage was taken apart again and these parts redrilled.

The rear fuselage photo guides showed that the cabin side should be prefitted to the rear fuselage at this time and this whas done. This required undoing some rivets but it was a good thing to have done before the cabin sides became part of the fwd fuselage. The wing attachments were also cleco'd on the rear fuselage as the photo guide suggested.

This leaves parts of the rear and fwd fuselage disassembled and needing deburring and corrosion treatment. It will all come together someday.
