Brief Description:  Drilled and cleco'd parts in the forward fuselage

Of these hours, 1.3 were Carole's.

After temporarily positioning many of the parts for the front fuselage in the last session, today we started the process of drilling the holes and clecoing them together with the copper (1/8 in) clecos. There are many many holes to drill, cleco, take apart, deburr, treat with zinc oxide, re-cleco and rivet. We will be on this for many sessions.

Photo 1 shows part of the inside of the forward fuselage, especially a twin row of rivet holes down the side on each side. This holds the aircraft side on as well as the extruded "L" below the skin.

Photo 2 shows the view along the bottom showing the extruded "L" angle which stiffens the forward fuselage. This is visible in the magazine photos of the 750.

Photo 3 shows how the large pre-riveted piece on the side attached to the part continuing the side forward. (This one does not yet have the "L"s which will tend to straighten it.
