Date:  3-30-2009
Number of Hours:  11.20
Manual Reference:  75F Series
Brief Description:  Prepared RHS to assemble with bottom.

Of these hours, 3.4 were Carole's.

Started the day by identifying parts and matching up the linkages of the flaperons. It was difficult to find the little parts and one set of castle nuts is missing and will be ordered. Otherwise, the linkage in the fuselage is laid out as it will be in the plane. This mechanism uses brackets attached firmly to the bottom and side skins. That was the reason to get this understood before fuselage assembly.

Following that, we assembled all the parts of the baggage compartment on the LHS. We had already done this for the RHS. Now, when we start the buildup from the bottom, the parts will be pre-drilled and easy to clico and (ultimately) rivet in place. This will minimize the work to be done inside the close quarters of the fuselage.

As the day ended, the parts were deburred and mating surfaces treated with zinc oxide. There was nothing interesting to photograph.
